About Pudong Airport Terminal 3 (under construction)
Construction of Pudong Airport’s Terminal 3 began on 20 November 2024, as part of the airport’s phase-IV expansion, slated for completion in 2028. It will sit south of Terminals 1 and 2 and the satellite terminal, with a design capacity of 50 million passenger trips a year (Shanghai Airport Authority, via the Shanghai Municipal Government).
